Payment Options

Payment Options Harker Heights Texas 76548We offer a variety of payment options to accommodate anyone who needs care. Eighty percent of our practice is made up of people who pay out-of-pocket for their care because they either have no health insurance, or their insurance does not cover Chiropractic Care.

Many people wonder why some insurance policies don’t cover chiropractic care. The answer is straightforward: it’s all about money. Insurance companies prioritize their bottom line over your health. In the short term, it’s cheaper for them to prescribe medication rather than cover treatments like chiropractic care, even though medication often only masks symptoms while underlying issues persist. Just as we don’t expect our auto insurance to cover routine maintenance like oil changes or tire rotations, we shouldn’t expect our health insurance to cover services aimed at improving or maintaining our well-being, such as chiropractic care, massage therapy, gym memberships, organic foods, nutritional supplements, personal training, or nutrition counseling. Health insurance typically covers treatments after problems arise rather than preventative or maintenance measures.

Self-Pay
Most of our patients are self-pay as they do not have an insurance paying for their care. We strive to keep our prices affordable so that everyone can afford care whether they have insurance, or not.

Insurance
If you are unsure if your insurance covers chiropractic, please come by our office, and our staff will do a complimentary benefits check. All insurance companies and policies are different, having different deductibles, co-pays, and covered services.

Medicare
We are in network with Medicare. Medicare typically covers 80% of the cost of chiropractic adjustments. Medicare Advantage plans are a separate network. If you have any questions, please give us a call.

Personal Injury (Auto Injuries)
Most people do not get the care they need after an auto injury and they pay for it later (with their bodies and their wallets). Many people do not get care because they fear the expense. Most people have Personal Injury Protection (PIP) or Med Pay as part of their auto insurance policies, which are designed to pay for medical care following an auto injury. If you are involved in an accident, schedule a free consultation with our office and let us find out what insurance coverage may be available to cover the cost of your care.

CareCredit
This is a lending program where a patient can get the care they need now and pay for it later. This program is subject to approval from the Care Credit Company. For more information go to www.carecredit.com
